Each paver is individually engraved with your custom message (two lines, 15 characters per line), offering a meaningful tribute that endures for generations.
Cost: $125.00
Ordering is simple and secure through our Square payment link: https://square.link/u/YPOMDCKc

“A photograph is a memory frozen in time, which may otherwise be forgotten...”
I am a simple person, easily satisfied with sunsets, mountain views, serene water trickles and changing seasons.
I am a mother to five colorful children; I am the wife to my childhood sweetheart.
The only thing that makes any of this better is the ability to ‘freeze time’, allowing me to revisit that special moment any time I
wish.
As a child, I didn’t grow up with extravagant vacations; I didn’t grow up with many friends or acquaintances, or even an overabundance of toys.
However, I did always carry a camera and sketch pad.
These two items have always allowed me to create things that no one can ever take away: memories and dreams.
I spent most of my childhood in the woods, leaving behind the everyday troubles of my adolescence.
The woods and mountains are where I feel at home: accepted, safe, comfortable.
As an adult, I still find comfort with a camera of some sort in my hands at all times.
I stay busy with work, home, children and more; my favorite escape being traveling to the woods and capturing little moments, click by click.
My children, or anyone that is around me often, may remember me by one quote alone
“Hang on! I need to take a pic real quick!”
I have earned the nickname of ‘paparazzi’ to some and known as the ‘photo crazed lady’ to others.
My photography dreams are to leave behind glimpses of my life in photos, to be shared and adored for generations to come. I hope everyone can enjoy the world
through my eyes, if only for a moment…

Landes Arts Center
Presents,
A “West Virginia Quilt Documentation” Event
Friday, July 11, 10am-3:30pm
Saturday, July 12, 10am-3:30pm
Doors Open 10am
The Volunteers from the
“West Virginia Quilt Documentation Project” will be present at the Landes Art Center to document your quilts made in or residing in West Virginia. This ongoing effort aims to preserve West Virginia’s Quilt Artistry and History for future generations.
The West Virginia Quilt Documentation Project is supported by West Virginia Quilters Inc. in collaboration with the West Virginia Division of Culture and History.
Roberta Gellner,
Project Coordinator,
emphasizes the significance of documenting quilts for future generations.
“These quilts hold immense pride for West Virginians, and taking the time to have them photographed and documented ensures that their stories are not lost,” Gellner states. “Volunteers from across the state will examine the quilts and record pertinent information about them and their creators. This data will be stored in the West Virginia Culture Center Archives and The Quilt Index (www.quiltindex.org),
a comprehensive national database of quilts from various regions.”
The quilt documentation is provided free of charge,
but donations to the project are greatly appreciated.
Quilt owners must make an appointment to bring their quilt in,
Please Contact:
JoAnn Harman
1.304.703.2059
To schedule your appointment…
Each quilt owner is limited to two quilts per event to provide equal opportunities for participation. Quilts must have been made before 1975.
Well-loved, well-worn quilts, family heirlooms, and treasures are welcome, as are quilts with unknown makers.
Quilts should be brought as they are…
Please refrain from washing, repairing, or altering them in any way solely for documentation purposes.
The documentation process typically takes approximately
45 minutes and provides an opportunity for the owner to photograph their quilt while displayed and learn about the pattern, timeframe, fabrics, and techniques used in its construction.
Since 2016, the project has documented over 800 quilts and their makers. It is a source of pride for the owners of these quilts to have their quilt information recorded in the national database, which is utilized by researchers and scholars in family genealogy, local history, American History, and Women’s History.
The event will also receive local support from the Grant County Historical Society and the Grant County Community Educational Outreach Service (CEOS)
